Boss reckon its hard enough to make a living out of farming without these sort of adventures but that’s life, I think he has coupled the door handle up to an electric fence energiser lets hope the burglar doesn’t have a pace maker!!! Yet another thing he will be prosecuted for!
Farming ups and downs boss had a beautiful Oxford Sandy Sow she had fourteen piglets he went though a 3ft high door to pull out the afterbirth and she went absolutely crazy at him he backed to the door and went A over T backwards into the feeding passage her teeth missed his leg by millimetres. She went on the rampage and trampled and gored every single piglet – guess who has gone to sausage – and now I know why he recommends double door arks for farrowing sows. It isn’t all about disasters, with our recent weather the farm is looking brilliant teeming with wildflower and wildlife boss lets his hedgerow trees grow so tis like a mini forest here.
Missus has been busy boss took her away for a break and when she came back she was rewarded with 3 litters of puppies – badger our stud dog had been busy at least one of these was an accident – all sold now.
